Local Area Employment Services (LAES):

The LAES is a new service, funded by the Department of Social Protection (DSP), which primarily supports long-term unemployed clients who are most distant from the labour market with a focus on their progression into employment.

Kildare Local Area Employment Service wishes to employ 2 Caseworkers and create a panel of suitably qualified people to fill future LAES Caseworker vacancies. The Caseworkers will be primarily based in our Naas and Leixlip offices but may be required to work across offices in Athy, Kildare and Newbridge LAES. They may also be required to occasionally provide cover in the offices in Bray, Wicklow and Arklow and any other offices which may be developed over the lifetime of the LAES.

Reporting to: LAES Co-ordinator
Salary: Competitive Salary, depending on experience.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Probationary period: 6 months
Nature of contract : 1 year fixed term contract with possibility of renewal dependant on performance and availability of funding
Other: The position requires Garda Vetting
