Working Hours: 39 Hrs per week

Inishturk Community Club CLG is a social enterprise responsible for community development and operating facilities on Inishturk Island including a community centre, bar/restaurant, shop, activity pitch & tourist accommodation. We receive funding from the Department of Rural & Community Development via Comhar na nOileán CTR.
Role Summary
The role of the Community Services Caretaker is to manage all aspects of maintenance for Inishturk Community Club, Tourist Accommodation and Glamping Facility. The Caretaker will be responsible for cleaning and minor repairs internally and externally for all facilities owned and managed by Inishturk Community Club CLG. Owing to the hands-on nature of the role, the successful candidate would be expected to live on Inishturk Island five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Property Management
- Cleaning of tourism accommodation and glamping site
- Cleaning, reset and maintenance of Inishturk Community Club
- Laundry duties
Club Operations
- Kitchen assistant in the Community Club two evenings a week
- Assisting as requested with driving the community bus transport service
Other related duties:
The post holder will also undertake such additional duties as necessary in relation to the work of the Community Club.
Candidate profile

- HACCP Level 2/3
Terms
- This contract will commence in early 2023 initially with a rate of €23,000 per annum. Any agreed overtime will be awarded as TOIL.
