Empower is a local development company working across Fingal.  We are State-funded and are responsible for a range of programmes to meet the needs of individuals, families and community groups in County Fingal.  Empower are delivering services across Fingal in the areas of Community Development, Health and Wellbeing and Employment Support Programmes. 

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Roma Peer Worker (Health Advocate)

The Health Advocate Worker will support the work of the Roma Intergenerational Programme in Balbriggan and the wider Fingal area.  The role will involve the engagement of Roma women and their children, health promotion and advocacy support. 
The worker is expected to work as part of the wider Empower team, supporting clients to engage in the various programmes available, and promoting a model of integrated services provision. 

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) but part-time posts would be considered.

Health Equality Co-Ordinator

The Health Equality Coordinator will support the work of the Roma Intergenerational Programme in Balbriggan and the wider Fingal area.  The role will involve the engagement of Roma women & children and the coordination of advocacy, health promotion and family support activities within the service. 
The worker is expected to work as part of the wider Empower team, supporting clients to engage in the various programmes available, and promoting a model of integrated services provision

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) but part-time posts would be considered.
