The Role

Job Title: Ukraine Information Worker
Nature of position: Part-time fixed term contract (15 hrs per week/ 6 months)
Salary: €30,000 per annum, pro rata (€16.48 p/hour)
Location: Unit 4, Whitefriars, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 and remotely.

Overview of Role/ Summary:

The Ukraine Information Worker will support the work of the Ukraine Community Response Forum in Dublin city and assist displaced persons who have fled the war in Ukraine through a new online community noticeboard, showcasing services, events, information and news.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the new Dublin City Ukraine Response Community Noticeboard, review submissions from community partners, develop and publish relevant news items for the site and deal with any related queries. The role will also involve collaborating and building relationships with external partner organisations, assisting with organising events, and researching services and resources that help support people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

We are looking for someone who is enterprising, innovative and has a can-do attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team(s). You will be committed to providing high quality information so that people can get the information that is of relevance to them.

The successful candidate is required to be fluent in English and Ukrainian (written and oral). You will have strong administration and writing/ editing skills, and proven skills in relationship building and communications.
