Cork City Partnership: SICAP Research and Evaluation Officer & SICAP Development Support Worker
Cork City Partnership is recruiting for the positions of:
- SICAP Research and Evaluation Officer and
- SICAP Development Support Worker – Older People
Cork City Partnership is a Local Development Company which focuses on the education, employment and empowerment of individuals and communities who are experiencing disadvantage and social exclusion in Cork City.
The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) addresses high and persistent levels of deprivation through targeted, innovative and locally-led approaches. It supports disadvantaged communities and individuals including unemployed people, people living in deprived areas, people with disabilities, single parent families, people on a low income, members of the Traveller and Roma community and other disadvantaged groups.
The Research and Evaluation Officer will carry out relevant research and evaluation activities, including advising on appropriate consultation methods and carrying out qualitative case studies to support and enhance the performance monitoring of SICAP.
The Development Support Worker will be employed to support the Friendly Call Service, with a focus on volunteer training and retention and supporting the IT needs of its clients.
