Drogheda Homeless Aid (DHA) provides accommodation, care and support for the growing number of people who experience homelessness within our community. DHA is a 22 bed hostel and has 9 transitional and long term housing. DHA are currently seeking a


The Manager's role is to provide clear leadership, develop and implement strategic and operational planning, to deliver the mission, vision and values of the organisation and positively advocates for the Charity and its beneficiaries.

Person Specification

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree (level 8) in community development studies, homelessness & housing or other social sciences related fields;
  • Three years’ work experience in a senior management role in community, voluntary or social care;
  • Practical skills and knowledge of GDPR, governance regulations and legislation in the public/charity sector;
  • Prior experience with programme and/or project management and budget development in the public/charity sector;
  • Prior experience of contributing to the development of opportunities and improvement of services within the homeless/public/charity sector;
  • Knowledge of effective HR practices.
