Everything we do centres around making a difference to the lives of the people we serve. Houben House Family Hub provides temporary emergency accommodation for 32 families. Houben House is a continuously developing service and will reach its maximum capacity in 2022 when accommodation will be provided for 55 families.

To help us do this, we have a team of exceptional support and facilities staff.

There is now an opportunity to be a part of this inspiring team; Houben House is recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Person.

The role of Maintenance Person is fundamental to providing a safe and comfortable environment for staff and residents of Houben House. You will be a conscientious and proactive professional with experience of delivering both planned and ad hoc maintenance in a similar service

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of basic DIY works to facilitate the upkeep of the building
  • Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations
  • Good relevant experience in general maintenance

SALARY: €12.70 per hour

WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week

CONTRACT: Permanent
