Everything we do centres around making a difference to the lives of the people we serve. Houben House Family Hub provides temporary emergency accommodation for 32 families. Houben House is a continuously developing service and will reach maximum capacity in 2022 when accommodation will be provided for 55 families.
To help us do this, we have a team of exceptional support staff. There is now an opportunity to be a part of this inspiring team; Houben House is recruiting for two permanent Night Assistant Support Workers.
The role of Night Assistant Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients. As a motivated Assistant Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting with delivering a quality programme of support promoting client choice and control. You will address clients support needs, enable them to make positive life choices and empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good Computer skills
- Work shifts, unsociable hours, weekend work
SALARY: €12.70 per hour plus 18% night shift premium plus Sunday & Bank Holiday premiums
WORKING HOURS: 39 Hours
