Empower is a local development company working across Fingal. We are State-funded and are responsible for a range of programmes to meet the needs of individuals, families and community groups in County Fingal. Empower are delivering services across Fingal in the areas of Community Development, Health and Wellbeing and Employment Support Programmes.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Roma Women’s Engagement Worker:

The Roma Women’s Engagement Worker will provide an engagement and advocacy service for Roma women based in Fingal. The worker will provide initial and on-going assessment, one-to-one advocacy and health promotion supports.

The work will involve research and the dissemination of relevant policy papers in various statutory and non-statutory forums. The worker is expected to work as part of the wider Empower team, supporting clients to engage in the various programmes available, and promoting a model of integrated services provision.

Musical Youth Diversity Worker:

The Musical Youth Diversity Worker will provide an engagement and support service for young people based in Fingal, primarily Balbriggan. The worker will provide initial engagement of young people under 25 from a range of ethnicities and promote integration through the medium of synthetic music production as part of our BEAT International programme.

The worker is expected to work as part of the wider Empower team, supporting clients to engage in the various programmes available, and promoting a model of integrated services provision.
