We are seeking to recruit to the following positions:


Permanent Part Time (30 Hours Per Fortnight)

I am a man in my 30’s looking for a support worker to help me develop relationships and make connections within my community. I am interested in machinery, music and sport. I am a big GAA fan. It is important to me that the person who supports me is friendly and enthusiastic. Having similar interests would be a bonus too. I am a very sociable person and I like to be busy.

Essential requirements/qualities of applicant:

  • Full current driving licence
  • Use of own car
  • Ability to use own initiative and plan effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility around working hours

Desirable requirements/qualities of applicant:

  • FETAC/ QQI Level 5 (Major Award) in Healthcare or equivalent (e.g. Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support)
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs
  • Experience in developing Person Centred Support initiatives
  • Good I.T./computer/report writing skills
  • Knowledge of New Directions & Social Role Valorisation
