Role: Senior Development Officer, Delivery & Finance

Location: Agile working, with access to office at Phoenix House, 32-34 Castle Street, Dublin 2
Reporting to: Director of Development
Contract: Permanent Contract
Salary: €52,434 - €68,384 DOE
Grade: Grade 4
Probation: 6 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
Leave: 25 days
Pension: Up to 7% employer contributory pension available after 6 months’ probation

The post requires a valid driving licence and the use of a car for business purposes. Mileage Allowance Operates. Class 1 Insurance is required.

About the organisation

CVHA has been a leading provider of social housing in Ireland since 2006 and now manages and/ or owns approx. 1,800 homes in 16 Local Authorities including Dublin, Cork, Kildare, Wexford, Wicklow, Waterford, Meath and Kildare. Currently employing 40+ staff, we have an ambitious growth programme in response to the need for more housing for those who cannot afford to provide their own. The Development Team have core responsibility in the identification of new business to execute the company development pipeline. Circle VHA is a Tier 3 developing housing association, a member of the Irish Council for Social Housing and Housing Alliance and intends to make a key contribution to the Rebuilding Ireland Programme 2020 and subsequent housing provision programmes.

The Role

The role will involve assisting and leading as appropriate in the identification, assessment of new potential housing developments, and project management of new and existing business opportunities, utilising current and evolving sectoral funding mechanisms. The role will include project management of new developments and transactions. Scheme financial appraisal and modelling will form an integral part of the position.

Experience Needed

The successful candidate will have a third level qualification and a minimum of five years of experience in experience in a construction, development, surveying, property or a housing environment. They will have excellent knowledge of the social housing sector.
