Salary: €11.98 per hour; permanent position.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 25h a week.

Job Summary: The Domestic Cleaner undertakes day to day cleaning tasks to ensure the service operates safely and successfully.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: A positive attitude, high levels of motivation and experience of supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focused and positive life outcomes within a recovery focused setting. Able to work within the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army, you will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication.

  • Previous cleaning/domestic experience • Knowledge of relevant health & safety requirements and procedures • Experience of using cleaning equipment • Awareness of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) requirements • Basic standard of literacy and numeracy.

  • Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations.
