Medical Officer – Talbot Group Disability Services
Job Title and Grade: Medical Officer
Contract: A permanent, 40 hour, Monday to Friday contract will be offered to the successful applicant.
Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location: Stamullen, Co Meath.
Reporting Relationship: Chief Executive Officer
Key Working Relationships: Consultant Psychiatrist, other Specialist Consultants as required and all members of MDT
Purpose of Post
In consultation with Specialist Consultants and an extensive multi-disciplinary clinical team, provide a medical/psychiatric service to adults with disabilities (including ID, ASD, ABI) to help them maximise their quality of life and achieve their potential.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following criteria on the closing date:
- Registered with Irish Medical Council or be entitled to be so registered
- 3 Years postgraduate experience
- Experience in Disability Services
- Experience in Psychiatry
- Assessment and management of complex medical/neurological/psychiatric conditions
- Relevant postgraduate qualification(s)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical management of residents with disabilities and complex medical/psychiatric/medical conditions that may also include psychiatric conditions
