OUTREACH WORKER (MPOWER PROGRAMME)
HIV Ireland’s mission is to contribute towards a significant reduction in the incidence and prevalence of HIV in Ireland and towards the realisation of an AIDS-free generation. We advocate for individuals living with HIV and aim to prevent new HIV infections, and work towards combating HIV-related stigma and discrimination.
The MPOWER Programme is a suite of peer-driven community-level interventions which aim to achieve a reduction in the acquisition of HIV and STIs and an overall improvement of sexual health and wellbeing among gay, bisexual and men who have sex with men (gbMSM).
HIV Ireland invites applications for a Full-Time Outreach Worker (MPOWER Programme).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter that wants to turn their support for the wellbeing of the gay community into a career. We are looking for a person that is passionate about the sexual wellbeing of our community and is eager to help develop health-seeking services for gay and bi men. If you are a sex-positive, solution-focused person that prides themselves on their non-judgemental approach – this job is for you!
