In these unprecedented times, many employers no longer have to work to offer their staff. In Positive Futures, our challenge is different; we need to ensure we continue to deliver our essential service to the people we support. Can you help us do this?

We provide support on a 24-hour basis, meaning we can offer a variety of working patterns and types of contracts. We have full-time, part-time, permanent, temporary and relief positions available.

The Role

Our Support Workers support adults in their own homes to live empowered, independent lives. A typical day might include helping them plan and prepare a meal, complete some household chores, or engaging in a hobby. You may also be supporting with medication, financial management and personal care. The job description provides more information.

Do I need experience?

Full training is provided. You do not need any previous formal experience - we need people who are caring, kind, compassionate and patient. Any experience that you may have in supporting a family member with anything from household tasks to emotional support will be helpful. You will have gained valuable skills in any customer facing role - communication, problem solving, team working etc. these are all relevant to providing support to people.

  • €25,785 - €38,057 pro-rata depending on experience
