SERVICE MANAGER (Support for Independent Living Service)

Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness, providing services at all stages of homelessness and enabling people to move to a place they can call home.

Their Mission is to empower people to access and retain a home by providing housing, prevention, addiction treatment, emergency response and other targeted interventions, through advocacy and partnership.

The Role:

Dublin Simon Community are now seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead on the management and development of its Support for Independent Living service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a highly committed team, ensuring the diverse needs and aspirations of all clients are considered in service planning and delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and funders.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and team building skills with a resilient and confident manner which is demonstrated by an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the broader Management Team. You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, both orally and in writing.

Above all, you will have previous experience working with vulnerable people particularly in the area of homelessness and you will be committed to Dublin Simon Community’s ethos and mission.

If you’re a solution oriented, positive professional with strong managerial experience, particularly in the community or voluntary sector, and a proven track record of working with disadvantaged groups, we’d love to hear from you!
