Female Health Care Assistant Required
Female Health Care Assistant (HCA) (PA) required to assist a physically disabled woman in all aspects of daily living based in Blanchardstown
A Personal Assistant Is:
“An individual contracted by a disabled person to work and enable him/her to have maximum freedom, choice, and control over his/her human support needs.
Hours of Work:
7 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Including every second Saturday morning from 09:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. additional relief hours covering for other PA’s can be available ongoing on the job training will be provided.
Location: To be able to reliably commute to: Dublin 15 area.
Rate of Pay: €28.00- €30.00 euros per hour please note: this is not a cash in hand role.
The successful candidate must speak fluent English as it’s a pre-requisite for the position and is eligible to work in Ireland. They will receive a contract from a healthcare company and will report to, and receive direction from, the individual receiving the service. As they self-direct manage their own support in the workplace you will be answerable to nobody else during work time, hence the term Personal Assistant PA.

Duties and Responsibilities: including but not limited to-
- Basic heating up of my main meal or cook preparing it assistance at home with basic domestic household chores, duties and routine light general house cleaning work. Physical assistance and support with personal hygiene care and grooming requirements, accompaniment to travel for appointments etc.
- Any other duties that may arise to facilitate the individual to live a positive, active vibrant life and being ably assisted to participate fully in their community.

What I Require:
Please note this is not a medical or specialised care role you must have up to date Manual Handling & People Movement Skills; experience with QQI Level 5 in healthcare may be advantage documentary evidence of your relevant qualification (s) will be required.
