Southside Employment Mentor

The Southside Employment Mentor will be based in Southill Hub with a key focus on outreach to the wider Southside community.

The key aspect of the Employment Mentor role is to provide community members one-to-one support. This pre-employment, person-centred process identifies individuals seeking employment and takes steps on a case-by-case basis to reduce barriers.  The role plays an integral part in targeting the hardest to reach and marginalised in the Southside communities through outreach work and accompanying individuals on their journey towards training or employment.  

Part time role - 21 hours per week, predominantly afternoons and evenings with some flexibility required in accordance with service needs. Salary is €38,000 per annum pro rata.

This is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract. This role is funded by Limerick City and County Council, Limerick & Clare Educations & Training Board and Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership
