We are currently seeking applications for multiple positions across the organisation; Social Worker Shift Leads, Social Care Workers and Social Care Assistants with a passion for working with people with intellectual disabilities and for supporting the person's right to live and participate in the community equally with other people. Social Care Worker Shift Lead

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
  • Have 2 years' experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
  • An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • A full driver’s licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Competitive Salary pay scales €36,840-€48,465 commencing at point 1 of the scale

Social Care Worker

Qualifications and Experience

  • Have 2 years of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services

  • Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Proficient IT skills to the relevant to the role to include Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, One Drive and Teams.
  • A full driver's Licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Competitive Salary pay scales €33,630-€48,465 commencing at point 1 of the scale

Social Care Assistant

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a minimum of a QQI in Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care
  • Have 1 years' experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
  • An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, One Drive and Teams
  • A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Competitive Salary pay scales €27,975 to €33,306
