WALK: Team Coordinator (Supported Living Services)


At WALK, we strive to offer people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism the opportunity to live in a home of their choosing. We support people in a range of housing options from single occupier to shared living. Our supports vary from a few hours a week to fulltime.  Our values are based on a human rights-based approach and a low arousal non-aversive philosophy.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Team Coordinator for our supported living services. The role arises as a strategic initiative in reviewing and restructuring organisational structures and functions, to ensure that we have best configured our resources to support the achievement of service users’ goals and face the challenges of the future.

The Team Co-ordinator plays a leading role in the leadership and co-ordination of a range of services and is the key driver and champion of person-centered services. In the course of their work, a Team Coordinator is the central communicator with all stakeholders.

Working with a competent group of team leaders and supported by a cohort of Team Coordinator peers, the position is an important one in the organisations leadership and influencing frameworks.
