About Cuanlee
Cuanlee provides accommodation and support services for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. The staff team provide a range of pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis responses, that support women who wish to move on and live independently, free from violence. Our professional staff are available to support women and children during their stay in the refuge. A non-judgmental, open and welcoming service is available to all women and children in Cuanlee.
The refuge provides safe and secure emergency accommodation. This is short term and offers a high level of support. Emergency accommodation can be provided for 6 women/families at any given time.
About the Roles
Cuanlee Refuge is currently recruiting for the role of Relief Social Care Worker. These roles will play a key role in the provision of accommodation and support to women and children that have experienced domestic abuse. The shifts are overnight and are worked on a rota basis that operates over 7 days. The shift pattern is as follows:
11am-midnight
Midnight – 8am (Sleepover in refuge)
8am-11:30am
There is only one sleepover staff in the refuge at any given time.
