Advocacy Support Worker
Part Time, 17.5 Hours per week, North Leinster CIS
North Leinster Citizens Information Service is currently seeking to recruit a temporary Part-Time Advocacy Support Worker for a specified purpose job share contract for twelve (12) months located in the Navan CIC.
Key tasks for this post include:
- supporting the provision of advocacy in Citizens Information Services within a region in adherence to standardised policies, practice and quality standards
- enhancing the capacity of Citizens Information Services in a region to deliver mainstream advocacy as part of an integrated information, advice and advocacy service to the general public and particularly to people with disabilities
- supporting CISs’ collaboration with the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities based in the region and to ensure seamless access for people with disabilities to CISs and to and from the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities
Fixed Term Post: This is a temporary position, subject to completion of a 6 month probationary period
Salary scale: €42,658 - €51,616 (pro rata for part-time staff)
Incremental Credit: CIS operates an incremental credit process, on request, which is based on the information provided by applicants on their application form
