Safe Home Ireland: Outreach and Advocacy Officer
Outreach and Advocacy Officer
Safe Home Ireland (Safe Home) is a not-for-profit Irish charity with a global remit. The organisation was set up in 2000 to facilitate the desire for qualifying older Irish born emigrants abroad to return to their homeland. Over the years Safe Home has evolved from simply facilitating a housing option for older Irish born emigrants. It now provides a targeted range of services to Irish emigrants abroad, regardless of age or circumstances, who desire to return home, as well as supporting those who have recently made the journey back home
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic professional to join Safe Home, further to the retirement of our Munster based Outreach and Advocacy Officer. The successful candidate will be home office based, preferably in the Munster or Leinster region, and will work closely with other staff, and in particular with our other Outreach and Advocacy Officer, who is based in Connacht. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively to cover the allocated region and also a level of travel outside of Ireland will be involved, primarily to the UK.
