Caseworker Cork - Full-time Permanent

Ruhama have expanded our services, and we are recruiting a caseworker for our Cork office. This role will be an exciting opportunity to establish Ruhama’s services in the Cork and Kerry region and will provide the successful candidate with excellent exposure and experience in a varied role within the domestic, sexual and gender-based violence sector.

Ruhama is an Irish NGO and registered charity that offers nationwide support to women impacted by prostitution, sex trafficking and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation. Founded in 1989, our organisation has extensive expertise in providing a wide range of specialist, holistic support services. Our services are free, confidential, and delivered by a committed and experienced team. Ruhama also advocates to influence policy that supports and protects women.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a holistic person-centred approach to care and case management for service users who have been impacted by prostitution and human trafficking for sexual exploitation including engaging in assertive outreach, in collaboration with other service providers in the Cork and Kerry region.

Details

  • Full-Time role - 35 hours per week
  • Competitive Salary Scale – €39,500 - €46,600 (salary point commensurate with experience)
  • 25 days annual leave per annum
  • 3 additional privilege days per annum
  • WFH options – 1 day per week following successful probation.
  • Ruhama Occupational Pension Scheme – 5% Employer Contribution of Annual Salary (post successful probation period)
  • Death in Service Benefit through our pension scheme: Available for all employees after 6 months (successful probation period) to the value of 3 times annual salary
  • Ruhama pay maternity leave at full salary (less Social Welfare benefits) for the period of the 26 weeks paid leave (subject to 1+ year service)
  • Parent’s Leave: 7 weeks’ leave topped up to full salary during the first 2 years of a child’s life or in the case of adoption, within 2 years of the placement of the child with the family for eligible employees.
