Social Care Leader (Mallow & Mitchelstown)

An exciting new role has come available, we are now recruiting for a Social Care Leader for our Mainstream service based in Mitchelstown & Mallow.

The successful applicant will work in close collaboration with the Centre Manager in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting,and secure environment for the young people and to ensure the highest possible standards of care are maintained at all times.

Desirable Qualifications

• Level 7 Degree in any of the following; Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Teaching, Nursing Psychology or other related field.
• Full clean driver’s license

The successful candidate will possess.

• Minimum 3 years of experience working within a young people’s residential unit
• Experience working within a residential & team environment
• Proven track record of working on own initiative
• Working knowledge of issues facing young people leaving care
• Committed to being positive & flexible with a passion for working with young adults

Social Care Worker (Mallow, Mitchelstown & Wexford)

Desirable Qualifications

Relief Social Care Worker (Wexford)

Essential qualifications

• Minimum level 7 degree in Social Care, Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching & Nursing
• Full clean driver's license.

Desirable experience:

• Experience working with vulnerable young people.
• Experience working within a residential & team environment.
• Experience working with youths and families in the community.
