Donnycarney Youth Project is a community-based project working with the youth and families of the area.

(A) Full Time Early Intervention / Family Support Worker Ref: EI/FSW

This new and exciting post is an addition to our Youth Diversion Project. We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, drive and initiative who are focused on providing a wrap around early intervention and family support service. They will work primarily with vulnerable children (aged 8-11) and families with the aim of breaking the cycle of disadvantage, promoting pro social development and desistance from crime. The successful candidate will embrace the Youth Justice Strategy 2021-2027 and Better Ireland Brighter Future National Outcomes for young people.
Essential Criteria
- A third level qualification (Degree) in either Social Care, Youth & Community or other relevant Degree
- Two years’ relevant full-time experience.
Desirable
- A full clean driver’s licence
Youth Worker salary scales apply and is depending on experience.
This position requires the successful candidate to work scheduled hours at evenings and weekends to include residential trips

(B) Full Time Youth Justice Worker Ref: YJW

Our work aims to break the cycle of disadvantage, promote pro social development and desistance from crime. The successful candidate will embrace the Youth Justice Strategy 2021-2027 and Better Ireland Brighter Future National Outcomes for young people and be committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential.
