We are currently offering an exciting opportunity to an experienced professional who is passionate, driven, and enthusiastic about supporting people to make positive changes in their lives.

We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, drive and initiative who are youth focused and will embrace the Better Ireland Brighter Future National Outcomes for young people. Our work promotes equality and inclusion. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential and required to deliver youth work practice in line with the requirements of the UBU Your Place Your Space funding scheme.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

  • An NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth Work or Youth and Community Work
    OR
  • Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth work setting and have an equivalent professional degree level qualification within the Education/Social Science/Social Care/Youth Work & Community Work sector

Desirable

  • A full clean driver’s licence

This position is funded under the UBU Your Place your Space funding scheme and channelled through the City of Dublin Youth Service Board. CDYSB Youth Worker salary scales will apply depending on experience.

This post requires the successful candidate to work scheduled hours at evenings and weekends to include residential trips.
