Role Purpose/ Summary

Pobal delivers funding programmes on behalf of the Government to a wide range of community service and development organisations, including Early Learning and Care (ELC) and School Age Childcare (SAC) services. This role is based in the Monitoring, Analysis and Outcomes Unit, which is responsible for collecting data on outputs and outcomes of programmes, its analysis, producing reports for the funders and providing insights for programme design and policy development.

The post holder will be responsible for conducting research on the Early Learning and Care (ELC) sector, including data collection, analysis and preparation of reports, such as the Annual Early Years Sector Profile.

The successful candidate will also work with the Head of Reporting and Analytics on developing a research offering to the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) and conduct agreed research projects as required.
