Bantry & Dunmanway School Completion Programme: Project Worker
Bantry & Dunmanway School Completion Programme (BDSCP) works in the 3 post – primary schools in the towns of Bantry, Dunmanway & Skibbereen, and also in 3 rural primary schools. The BDSCP Management Committee invites applications for the position of Project Worker. This fixed term/purpose contract of up to 35 hours per week, is expected to commence in January 2022 and end on 31st August 2022. The BDSCP Management Committee may consider an extension to this contract duration depending on circumstances.
A panel may be formed from which any vacancies which arise may be filled. This panel will remain in place for 12 months from the interview date.
The primary objective of this position is to engage with a target group of children and young people who have been identified as being at risk of early school leaving and to enable them to acquire learning and group work skills which will allow them to productively participate in their education and there by maximise their potential.

Salary in line with City of Dublin Youth Services Board salary scale.
