About us:

Gateway Residential Care was established in 2007 in the North West and today is a leading provider of children’s residential services operating across numerous locations in Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Cavan and continues to expand to other parts of the country. Due to the growth and expansion of our services we currently have a number of positions for qualified social care workers.

We offer medium to long-term residential care for young people aged between 8 to 18-years of age. We provide a physically, emotionally and psychologically safe place in which young people can heal, develop and move forward in their lives.

Our care is provided in small-scale residential facilities for family-sized groups – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also help the young people in our care to become an integrated part of local communities by partnering with local schools, sporting clubs and voluntary groups to offer them positive life experiences

Our team members are recruited, trained and supported to build positive relationships with children in a safe and secure environment. Our staff are fully trained to support young people in achieving their potential, and to overcome trauma, neglect, and abuse. Working together, we help the young people in our care learn to live fulfilled lives – both during and after their time with us.
