is currently recruiting for an

Afterschool Coordinator

The afterschool coordinator will have overall responsibility for the daily operation of the service and the children attending the service. They will be responsible for school pick-ups, homework support, serving hot meals and facilitating a fun filled afternoon with indoor and outdoor activities. Working hours are 12pm-6pm Monday-Friday.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent with QQI Level 7 a distinct advantage
  • Relevant experience of working directly with school age children
  • A sincere and genuine interest in the welfare, Ceducation and care of children
  • Experience of managing budgets and ensuring financial best practice
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with knowledge of the PIP portal and the Early Years Hive an advantage
  • An excellent knowledge of the Aistear & Siolta Frameworks

Afterschool Room Leader

The afterschool room leader will be responsible for school pick-ups, homework support, serving hot meals and facilitating a fun filled afternoon with indoor and outdoor activities. Working hours are 2pm-6pm Monday-Friday.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent with QQI Level 6 a distinct advantage
  • Relevant experience of working directly with school age children
  • A sincere and genuine interest in the welfare, education and care of children
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • An excellent knowledge of the Aistear & Siolta Frameworks

Early Childhood Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a fun loving attitude & a love for children. We are committed to providing an excellent standard of care & education to the children & families who use our services through a child led curriculum supported by the Aistear framework & Siolta standards of practice. Working hours are 9am-1pm Monday-Friday.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education
  • Relevant experience of working directly with early year’s children
  • A sincere and genuine interest in the welfare, education and care of children
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • An excellent knowledge of the Aistear & Siolta Frameworks
  • Experience of carrying out observations
  • Experience of documenting children’s learning and curriculum planning
