We are inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:
Youth Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Worker
Salary Range Based on Experience and Professional Qualifications.
Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract. 37 hrs Per week.
MaCYSS is a community-based service which provides prevention, treatment and support to under 18’s who are experiencing difficulties with alcohol or other drug use or are affected by problematic substance use within their families. The service has been developed by Alcohol Forum Ireland in partnership with the HSE Social Inclusion Unit CHO1
The Post: The Youth Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Worker will provide evidence-based interventions, support and guidance to young people and their families with alcohol or other drug problems. Work collaboratively with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, youth and other Statutory Services to support young people presenting with complex needs and co-morbid mental health issues.
Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified practitioners with a Professional Qualification in Nursing / Clinical Psychology or Psychotherapy / Social Work / Social Care / Counselling / Youth and Community Work or related Social Science discipline Minimum Level 8 (as per the National Framework of Qualifications- www.nfq-qqi.com).
