We offer high quality childcare that supports working parents who require flexible care and educational services that meet their needs from 7:30am until 6:30pm, 51 weeks per year.

FULL DAY CARE EARLY YEAR CENTRES

Early Years Educators

We are looking for Early Years Educators join our team of dedicated childcare professionals in the following locations;

Ashbourne, Co. Meath
Early Years Educators

  • 1 x 40 hour, permanent position, (3-5 years age group) to commence ASAP
  • 1 x 40 hour, Kitchen & cover staff position, (9am- 6pm) to commence ASAP

Balgriffin, Dublin 13
Early Years Educators

  • 1 x 40 hour, permanent position, (holiday/sick cover), to commence ASAP

Leopardstown, Dublin 18
Early Years Educators

  • 1 x 40 hour, permanent position (Baby Room age 18-24 months), to commence ASAP
  • 1 x 40 hour, permanent position (Baby Room age 12-18 months), to commence ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities of Early Years Educator:

Duties will be discussed in full at time of interview. A brief outline is below:

  • To support and assist in the provision of full time day care of the highest quality, in a holistic setting.
  • Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
  • Organise materials and toys to the benefit of children throughout the day.
  • Support children's developments - emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.
  • Conduct observations & learning stories for assigned child/children.
  • Attend meetings and undergo training as required.
  • Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements of Early Years Educator:

  • Candidates must be willing to work with infants and young children
  • Candidates must hold a minimum of Fetac Level 5 (or recognised equivalent) in a childcare qualification
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year experience in a childcare role.
  • Candidates must provide 2 x written references and copy of qualification certificates at time of interview.
  • Candidate details will be submitted for Garda Vetting.
  • International Vetting required if candidate has lived outside of the jurisdiction for a period of 3 months or more.

Room Leader

We are looking for a Room Leader to join our team of dedicated childcare professionals in the following location;

Blanchardstown, Dublin 15

  • 1 x 42.5 hour, maternity position (2-3 years age group) to commence in May 2021.

Duties & Responsibilities of Room Leader:

Duties will be discussed in full at time of interview. A brief outline is below:

  • To support and assist in the provision of full time day care of the highest quality, in a holistic setting.
  • To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team
  • To act, if required as a key worker to specified children
  • Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
  • To adhere to the Child Care 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, the Child Care Act 1991, and all other relevant legislation and Regulations.
  • To adhere to good practice guidelines in relation to Aistear, Síolta, and policy documents
  • To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service always with specific responsibility for your designated room.
  • Ensure a good standard of hygiene.

After School Manager

We are looking for After School Manager to join our team of dedicated childcare professionals in the following location;

Tyrrelstown Community Centre, Dublin 15

  • 30 hours per week, to commence employment during the week commencing 23rd August 2021 and will undertake induction and manager training prior to the new school year beginning.

Job Role:

This is a stand-alone role of full responsibility and accountability for the management and operation of the after-school business. The Manager will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of a high quality after school service. The Manager will ensure that all standards are met in the delivery of a quality after school care programme. The Manager will be responsible for the efficient financial management and operations of the service. This role also requires the Manager to liaise with the local Childcare Committee, Tusla-The Child & Family Agency and other relevant organisations.

Overall Duties: 

This is not a definitive list and the duties will be discussed in further detail at the interview stage. Generally duties include:

  • To ensure the ongoing successful management and financial viability of the after school business is maintained.
  • To ensure that the after school operates at full capacity
  • To have a sound knowledge and understanding of various funding schemes
  • To ensure that all practice is child-centred and responsive to the individual needs of children
  • To take day to day responsibility for children & staff
  • To ensure high standards of practice care at the centre
  • To act as the Designated Child Protection Liaison Person in the after school
  • To build relationships with parents and ensure all colleagues engage and communicate with parents

Candidate requirements: 

Candidates who do not meet the requirements listed below will not be considered.

  • Candidates must hold a minimum of Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in a childcare qualification.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in an after school service is preferred.
  • Candidate details will be submitted for Garda vetting.
  • Candidates must provide qualifications and 2 written references at interview stage.
  • Candidates who have lived outside of the jurisdiction for 6+ months must provide international police vetting.
