Swan Youth Service: Project Leader (Job Share)

Project leader: Job share (17.5 hours) Temporary 12 month contract
A Project leader operating from a social change model of youth work is required for Swan Youth Service. This position involves the day to day management and development of the various programs in Swan Youth Service. Responsibilities will be divided between the two job sharing Project Leaders.
The Project Leader will be responsible for the supervision of staff, students and volunteers, ensuring that the youth service is responsive to emerging needs, and is outcome focussed in line with Swan’s strategic plan.
Other duties include; the completion of all administrative requirements in an efficient and timely manner, budgetary oversight of the youth work programmes, reporting on the progress of the service to the Board and other relevant stakeholders.
The post will also involve interagency work, community development, and some direct youth work.
- A professionally endorsed qualification in Youth/Community Work and a minimum of 5 years full time experience in a youth work setting.
- Previous management experience and or a relevant qualification to a management post.
This post is funded through CDYSB under UBU Dept of Children Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. The role will require evening and weekend work. CDYSB Project Leader salary scale applies and a panel may be formed for any future vacancies. Garda Vetting will apply to this post.
