Afterschool Workers
Applications are invited to apply for the post of Afterschool Worker.
Hours of Work
Part-time 20-hour post Monday to Friday where the worker will be available between the hours of 12:30 and 18:30. The Afterschool Worker will be expected to be flexible about morning, evening and weekend work for which overtime will not be paid but time-off-in-lieu will be granted. The contract is fixed term and will be subject to continued funding. A 6-month probation period will apply.
Salary
The salary scale is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates should refer to the Early Years Salary Scale. This is a guide only and the final decision about salary rests with the Voluntary Board of Management.
Grade 3.3: No less than €28,266 (€14,495.38) per annum pro rata
Holidays
Twenty-five days per annum pro rata, 2 privilege days (Christmas Eve and Good Friday) plus public holidays.
Vetting
In accordance with The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016, E-vetting will be a requirement for the successful candidate.
