Regional Administrator – Dublin City

Location: Christchurch Square Dublin City and hybrid

Contract Type: Permanent and Part-time, 22.5 hours per week

Salary: €17,188 – €27,105 LSI1 €28,007, LSI 2 €28,912 D.O.E.
– This is the pro-rated salary for 22.5hrs.

Regional Administrator (based from Barnardos National Office Dublin and Hybrid)

To provide an efficient and flexible administrative support service to the Dublin Central & Schools Programmes Office in an integrated way with the wider organisation including:

  • Being the Regional point of contact: welcome & reception support
  • General enquiries and information provision regarding services etc.
  • Main point of contact /Link person within the National Office for the region’s health and safety / IT support / effective office management.
  • Administrative support to Assistant Director as required

Personal attributes

  • Ability to work on own initiative and to consult where appropriate.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide ongoing support to administration personnel in various locations within the region in particular in relation to adhering to internal and external financial systems, funder requirements and audits
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Awareness of confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive queries.
  • Teamwork required and the ability to work in collaboration with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in terms of tasks and time essential.

Experience

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a finance role is essential.
  • Candidates must have excellent typing, administration, organisational and numeracy skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Experience of a computerised accounting package would be an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent as minimum level of education essential.
  • Finance qualification an advantage.
