Bluestack Foundation

The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation was established in 2006. It is a voluntary organization run predominantly by parents of children with special needs and professionals who work in the field.  Its mission is two fold, to enhance the lives of people with special needs and to support families with a special need dependent.

We run a range of programmes and supports for people in the north west. We try to act as an initial supportive contact for families.

Breaking Through

Aim: To facilitate links through local, regional and national networks

Objectives: Promote partnership, collaboration and interagency co-operation Collate and disseminate models of best practice Provide informed support within our networks Influence policy, practice and programme development Secure appropriate resources to support our networks Collaborate with State Agencies in providing training.

Camphill

Camphill was established to work with people who were mentally handicapped - and this is still its principal role today. From the outset, the intention was to do this work not as a 'job' in the usual sense of the word, but as a way of life.
