Programme Assistant

Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Part Time (12 hrs) and Fixed Term for 23 weeks
Salary: €7,520 - €9,284

The working days are Monday to Thursday, 09.45am – 12.45pm.

What does our Early Years Project in Millbrook do?

We work in partnership with children, families and relevant services to provide the necessary opportunities for children to reach their potential. Through Early Intervention Programmes, preschool service, home visits, parental support, one to one work and small group work where needed, we offer support and direction to children and families experiencing disadvantage. We also provide a service to children in transition from our pre-school to national school through a group session.

What will the Programme Assistant do?

The post holder will provide a safe, child centred environment / experience to children attending the Early Years service in Millbrook. This position will support one child who attends the service.

Where are we based?

Millbrook Lawns Health Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Experience Required

• Experience of working with children for a minimum of 6 months is essential.
  (work experience means paid employment, not training courses/student placements)
  Relevant voluntary work may be considered.

Qualifications Required

• Recognised qualification (min FETAC Level 5 on the NFQ) that is approved under the Early Years (Preschool) Regulations.
