Early Childhood Ireland is the leading membership organisation in the early years sector, with over 3,800 members nationwide. Our vision is that every child is thriving and learning in quality early childhood settings.
Early Childhood Ireland wishes to engage suitably qualified researcher(s) to conduct a comparative study on pathways towards the professionalisation, unionisation and formalisation of pay & conditions of workers in traditionally low paid sectors. The research will propose appropriate comparisons and recommendations for the early years sector so that Early Childhood Ireland can inform and influence the policy debate on this vital area.
