DCYA seeks rapid review of effective mechanisms of information delivery to parents
The Parenting Support Policy Unit in the Department of Children and Youth Affairs leads out on co-ordinating policy direction and activity relating to parenting support. The Unit collaborates with other departments, agencies, and the community and voluntary sector to promote increased understanding and learning of effective policies and actions to ensure that all parents are supported to parent confidently and positively. As part of the First 5, A Whole-of-Government Strategy for Babies, Young Children and their Families, the Unit will lead on the development of a national model of parenting supports, the development of quality standards to underpin publicly funded parenting supports, and work with others to ensure that high-quality, consistent parenting information resources are available to meet parents’ needs.
To support this work, the Parenting Support Policy Unit is seeking quotation for a rapid review of effective mechanisms of information delivery to parents.
