Request for Tenders from the Housing Agency to provide evaluation of the Dublin City Age Friendly ‘Housing with Support’ Model in Inchicore.
This is a request for tenders for a formative evaluation of Phase 2 and 3 of the Dublin Age Friendly ‘Housing with Supports’ Model pilot project. The evaluation is being commissioned by the Housing Agency, at the request of Dublin City Council. The evaluation process will be managed by the Housing Agency.
The Housing Agency is located at 53 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2. The Housing Agency is a government agency focused on supporting Local Authorities, the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, (DHPLG) and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs). The Agency also implements the Pyrite Remediation Scheme and is the interim regulator of the AHB sector.
The overall aim of the Dublin Age Friendly ‘Housing with Support’ Pilot Housing Project in Inchicore is to develop a new model of housing for older people, where the key components of physical environment and care supports are provided onsite, integrated into the community and are designed with older people at the centre. The project also seeks to explore how the critical issue of homecare can be more effectively provided.
The project has been divided up into three phases; Phase 1 is the development of the concept and overall design of the project; Phase 2 is the detailed design and build process and Phase 3 is when Residents move in and occupy the housing.
Invitations for tender with full details are attached.
Submissions will be received no later than 12 noon, Friday 15th March 2019
