The Organic Centre invites applicants for the post of General Manager at its location in Rossinver, Co. Leitrim.
Over its 24 years of operation, the Organic Centre has developed a strong nationwide profile and brand in the field of Organic Horticulture and Sustainable Living. Our reputation with customers has been built on trust, the wide level of expertise we provide, and the commitment of staff, board members, volunteers, students and work placements.
We are now seeking to appoint a General Manager who will have the skill, commitment and vision necessary to ensure that the Organic Centre continues to grow and develop in response to new challenges and opportunities in a changing environment.
The salary for this position is €30,000 per annum.
Key responsibilities will include management of the day-to-day workings of the Centre, motivation and direction of staff and volunteers, and working to ensure the financial and commercial viability and sustainability of the Centre.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of and empathy with the organic and environmental agenda.
