Salary: €13.62 per hour, plus unsociable hours and Sunday premiums
Working Hours: 42 hours per week average, including weekends
Job Summary: Providing support to vulnerable residents in the Salvation Army’s St Bricin’s Lifehouse, this men-only service provides one night only shelter for a maximum of 27 clients.
Key Responsibilities: Working on Nights, you will address clients’ needs, enabling them to make positive life choices and ultimately empower them in securing permanent accommodation. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the centre as a safe place for the clients at night in addition to activities including administration tasks and reception duties to support the successful operation of the Centre.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Experience of working in the homeless sector alongside clients with challenging behaviours. With a motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focused and positive life outcomes you will also be able to demonstrate good customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload. The successful candidate will be expected to work in sympathy with the principles and ethos of the Salvation Army.
