General Operatives (Catering / Domestic duties) – Sunshine House

Duration:   Seasonal (May- September)
Hours:   32-36 per week (on a roster basis)

The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a Christian voluntary organisation committed to offering support, friendship, promoting self-sufficiency and working for social justice.

The Sunshine Fund requires catering and domestic staff for the 2019 holiday season.

Applications are invited from those who will be available for work during the months of May, June, July and August 2019.

The ideal candidate will possess the following;

  • Ability to work as part of a team,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and energetic person,
  • Has a clear understanding of the SVP, it’s ethos and values
  • Understands the staff/volunteer dynamic
  • Experience of working in the community / voluntary sector is desirable
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage
