Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) is looking for a fulltime (35 hours p/w) Communications Coordinator to join our dedicated team in our National Resource Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

This position isn’t for the faint-hearted! We are looking for someone who thrives on the challenges of communications, marketing, PR, advocacy/campaigns work, and developing fundraising initiatives. We are seeking someone who understands charity work and is willing to go the extra mile to help us realise the aims of our mission.

If you are excellent with writing and editing copy, have a keen eye for design, if you are fully engaged in traditional and contemporary methods of communication, if you know how to engage a wide audience with relevant issues, and if you can bring more of the spotlight to SBHI by working with our team, then we want to hear from you.

This is a challenging role in a charity setting, demands on your capabilities will be tested and we require someone who thrives on overcoming tough situations with initiative and high levels of self-motivation. You will be fully supported by a hands-on CEO, the Operations Manager, as well as the wider operations team.

With your SBHI colleagues, you will combine to facilitate life-changing work on behalf of everyone affected by the conditions.

You will need your own car, a clean driving licence, and business insurance cover in order to fulfil this position. Mileage costs are reimbursed for all work-related travel expenses.
