After 21 years in Northern Ireland, Positive Futures is now committed to supporting people right across the island of Ireland.

We currently have two exciting vacancies to be part of a new 3-year pilot project based in either Co. Louth and Co. Meath, establishing and providing Home Share services to people with an intellectual disability.

Social Worker

Full time (39 hours per week)
(initially 3 years fixed term contract)
€42,667

Are you:

• committed to ensuring that people with a disability should have the same rights and choices as everyone else?
• focused on individuality? 
• positive? 
• interested in developing innovative services?  

You will have:

• an approved Social Work qualification
• registered Social Worker with CORU
• experience of working with people with an intellectual disability
• experience of undertaking detailed assessments
• the ability to travel independently*

* Positive Futures defines this as being a car driver and holder of a driving licence, or having access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the demands of the post
