Learning and Development Officer
We are currently recruiting for the position Learning and Development Officer in our Dunlaoghaire National Office.
The Learning and Development Officer will be the point of contact for all Learning and Development enquiries and will have responsibility for developing, coordinating, and delivering the Learning and Development activities within the organisation. The role will be administrative and operational.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the Learning and Development Officer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing innovative, high quality, person-centred educational and rehabilitative training programmes in line with best practice and organisational policy, while maintaining appropriate procedures in respect of standards and accreditation. They will also contribute to the continuous improvement activities of ABI Ireland and promote a culture of excellence throughout the Organization, which is aligned with the Organization’s Mission, Vision and Values.
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of teaching adult learners and engaging and managing groups
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
Previous experience of working in the Charity Sector is desirable but not essential
