Part time Workshop Coordinator (Primary & Secondary School)

What’s the opportunity?
We are seeking a team of enthusiastic and passionate (Primary & Secondary School) Workshop facilitators. The successful candidates will be part of a team to facilitate 70 hour long workshops in designated regions across Ireland. They will work with other facilitators to help shortlisted pupils and teachers develop an existing idea in order to compete in the second phase in environmental & sustainability schools’ competition.
The successful candidate will carry out workshops in their designated region, commencing in early January 2019.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the environment and sustainability, with a background in the area and previous facilitation experience. They will be outgoing and enjoy working with both teachers and students.
*Paid per workshop plus mileage and expenses
*Full training and materials provided
- Full license and access to own vehicle
The Ideal candidate:
- Third level qualification in education or health
- Ideally a background environmental science (but not essential)
- Experience with working with young people
- Great presentation skills
- Extremely enthusiastic
- Must be a self-starter
- Organisational skills
This part time role might be ideal for newly qualified teachers interested in fostering relationships with schools.
