You will be registered in the Intellectual Disability Division and / or Psychiatric Division and/or General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann or be entitled to be so registered. You will have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role & at least 3 years post registration experience of which one year must be in the area of Intellectual Disability / Autism.
The ideal candidate will have a real commitment to the ethos and values of the project and fit one of the following three profile requirements: 1. A professionally endorsed qualification in youth and community work is essential + 2 years experience of working with young people at risk is desirable. 2. An equivalent professional qualification or degree + 2 years full time experience of working with young people at risk is essential. 3. Worked as a full time youth worker without formal qualifications for at least 3 years – essential.
