The Transport and Logistics Policy Researcher will take responsibility for a variety of research policy, research strategy initiatives and projects. In particular, the post holder will be responsible for effective and comprehensive briefings to senior management and Institute members on policy issues, as well as delivering a range of work streams. The researcher is expected to develop effective links with stakeholders across the Industry.

Community Creations: Social Workers - Platform Shift Leaders (Full-Time & Part-Time)

As Social Work Platform Shift Leader, you act as the leader of a team of 2-3 Supervisors overseeing the work of volunteers remotely during shifts. You are responsible for real-time management and support of our remote volunteers in offering the best possible quality care to texters. You will take conversations with texters when needed and will take the lead on high-risk situations including active rescues and mandatory reporting.

As a Support Worker on Nights, you’ll work with our clients to meet their needs on a nightly basis, and engage clients in service activities as per support plans. From developing relationships with clients to seeing their progress, you’ll directly impact the lives of many people. As well as our induction program, you will be provided with 10 training days throughout the year, ensuring you have the support and training to succeed in this role.

As a Night Support Worker, you’ll work directly with service users as part of the Dublin Simon team to ensure the provision of accommodation services and physical environment within the Simon Community operate effectively and consistently to best practice standards. Meeting the needs of rough sleeper on a nightly basis, ensuring safe service delivery, responding to crisis, engaging clients in service activities and maintaining service reports.
